Chocolate Brownies
There are so many superb recipes for chocolate brownies but this is my absolute favourite. When I make these brownies, people often ask for the recipe.
The chocolate in this recipe that is chopped up to make the chunks in the brownie, can be plain, white or milk chocolate, or a mixture of all of these. You don’t need to buy cooking chocolate, you can use normal popular brands or supermarkets’ own brand of chocolate. If you like nuts these can also be added and would increase the protein and calorie content of the brownie.
The topping is optional but does add extra calories and looks appealing.
It freezes perfectly well and will defrost in a few hours at room temperature.
You can find many more tasty and nutritious cake and biscuit recipes in my new book "Making Every Mouthful Count" which is available on Amazon in paperback or Kindle versions.
